Core Mobile Networks was founded in February 2008 with the goal to “Mobilize the Cloud”. The market validation for this initiative was completed in August 2009 at a well-publicized event sponsored by Google & Cisco with support from IIT Alumni Association (http://mobilize-the-cloud.iitroorkee.us). Core Mobile Networks operates out of Citrix Startup Accelerator offices in Santa Clara since receiving seed investment from Citrix Startup Accelerator in May 2011.  Core Mobile Networks released the first version of its product Sales Crystal in December 2010 and completed pilot implementation at enterprise customer in June 2011. Core Mobile Networks is looking for a next round of funding for scaling of product/service in Q4 2011.

Chandra Tekwani is an IIT alumnus with a Bachelor's and a Master’s in Computer Science, Certificate in Business Management and 21 years of industry experience. Chandra’s experience includes VP & Head of Mobile Business at Juniper Networks, VP of Mobile Operations at Cloudmark (a successful SaaS company) and experience at Nokia, HP, Motorola and AT&T Wireless and  a very successful startup experience at NetScreen Technologies (later acquired by Juniper for $2.54B).
